Rating: - Great for small hands I am very fond of my old Makita stick style tools. The Nicad batteries keep their charges a remarkably long time even though stored in the garage. They just keep on going. The stick style suits my petite hands unlike the boxy batteries that I can barely get my hand around to remove. The drills got a good work out on my new deck. Read More Rating: - better than new type My new makita drill came with the new nimh batteries which would not hold a charge for more than five minutes so I am switching back to the old style nicads which have served me well through many years of use. I have three of the batteries and they are great. I have two of the new type batteries and they are junk.
