I have the drill kit that came with 2 1.5Ah batteries so when I purchased the BTD181 impact driver I felt I needed a third battery for when 2 people are using tools at the same time. This 3.0Ah battery seems to never need to be recharged. It holds it's charge for a very long time. Working on small projects I still prefer the 1.5Ah battery due to weight but a drill or impact driver with the BL1830 is still very light weight. ...
